Dr. Paula Bu is a board-certified adult psychiatrist currently based in Philadelphia. She is trained in treating a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, and PTSD.

In addition to medication management, she is available for psychotherapy. She incorporates multiple modalities including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to provide individualized treatment. Dr. Bu can collaborate with your existing therapist if your need at this time is primarily medication management.

She also has significant experience treating members of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and college students. She served as a psychiatric consultant to students at Haverford College through their Counseling and Psychological Services. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Bu has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals in gynecologic oncology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and psychiatry, and has presented her work nationally.
